Conferences and Events

We hold a range of seminars and other events throughout the academic year, offering a forum for academics and practitioners to share and develop their ideas in a collegial and supportive atmosphere. CEPA represents a wide-ranging set of interests, including higher education, globalisation, educational technology, citizenship education, teacher education, and philosophy of education.

We welcome collaborations from outside the university, and if you are interested in attending any events or sharing your own work, please contact either of the Associate Directors. Some events are aligned with and funded by the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain North West branch.

Seminars normally take place on Wednesday afternoons, from 2-3.30pm. The calendar of events for 2016-17 is currently under development.
